The Greendale Woman’s Club is a society of women. Through varied activities each member is encouraged to enrich her life and improve her home and community.
The club meets monthly, the first Wednesday of the month, September through May,
at Tuckaway Country Club, Franklin, Wisconsin.
There is a luncheon followed by a business meeting and a program of general interest to all members.
The numerous activities available to members include book club, bridge, canasta, stitching, sheepshead and epicures. Each year scholarships and grants are given out to the community upon request. Funds are raised by candy sales, restaurant promotions, jewelry sales and various other fund raisers. The club also has a mitten tree at Layton State Bank each holiday season and collects money and items that are given to shelters, help organizations and needy families.
Membership is open to all women in Greendale and surrounding area regardless of age, color, or religion
